Sling TV has removed support for the Mac, and PCs running Windows 8 operating systems or below, the live streaming service has announced.

“We’re aware that MAC users with OS High Sierra are experiencing issues streaming, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” Sling stated earlier this year in a notice in its ‘Help Center.’ Bluestacks mac app store.
Now when Mac users try to use the Sling TV app, they are met with an on-screen display that says, ‘This App is no longer supported by Sling TV.’
“We’re trying to improve the viewing experience for our customers, and unfortunately, this required discontinuing support for the MAC and Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 PC apps,” @SlingAnswers, the service’s Twitter customer service page, tweeted yesterday.

Sling advises Mac owners, and PC users using older versions of Windows, to download the latest version of Google Chrome, which will enable them to watch the Chrome Chrome browser player at Sling.com.
However, that’s cold comfort for some Mac and PC users who have voiced their concerns at social media sites.
